The starting time by location:

Lausanne, Place des Pionnières 3-6 p.m.

What does the petition say?

Sexualized violence is not a "side effect" of war.

It is a deliberately-employed means of destruction, humiliation, and attrition.

Switzerland, as the depositary state of the Geneva Conventions, bears a special responsibility.

Four clear demands to the Swiss Federal Council:

1. Implementation of UN Resolution 1325 – binding and measurable

Transparency, reporting obligations, clear objectives

2. Consistently hold perpetrators accountable

Cooperation with the International Criminal Court in The Hague, sanctions, universal jurisdiction, asset freezing

3. Mandatory support for survivors

Designated funds, trauma care, protection programs

4. Consistent diplomatic stance without double standards

Public condemnation – regardless of who is the perpetrator, consistent voting.

Good to know.

As early as 2024, we submitted a petition with over 6000 signatures to the Swiss Federal Council.

2024: Focus on solidarity with victims and global cooperation against sexualized violence.

2026: Focus on the legal accountability of perpetrators, concrete state obligations, measurability and universal application of humanitarian law.
